迦比尔（Kabir）是15世纪印度神秘主义诗人，近百年来在西方受到重视。而在东方，伊斯兰教和印度教更为争夺他的文化遗产展开长期的争斗。讽刺的是，他在世时却同时遭到这两个宗教的唾弃，只能从事贱民的工作，生活非常贫困。

死亡已经瞄准了他们，
乞丐也好，国王也好。
